With over 20 years of experience in documentary production, co-founders of DOClabs Beijing include key members that filmed China's first natural history program, Forest China, as well as famous history documentary, China in A Century, etc. The team devoted itself to explore a wide range of topics, and accumulated extensive experience in the industry.

DOClabs' documentary programs has gained high ratings and popularity among audiences in China and abroad. Documentary series Once Upon A Bite, aired on October 2018 in China and Southeast Asia, harvested 930 million online views upin its release. In 2014, the premiere of A Bite of China II broke the then documentary ratings record in China, with 242.26 million viewers in a month.
